Analysis of the teaser trailer "Unborn" focusing on editing
The trailer starts with the name of the producers fading from black on the screen, it is quite bright to attract attention. The first two shots are quite a slow pace with the transitions being short, fade to blacks. The the editing gets faster as the music gets faster. The shots become much shorter and faster, parts of shots then get missed out, such as the zoom is not smooth, parts are missed out so it becomes faster and more unpredictable making the viewer feel uneasy. Parts of the zoom are also made negative so it is bright and dark both at the same time. At this point the volume increases. There is now a title screen with the producer's name on it, this screen is monochrome, and it looks aged and creepy. It now cuts to a father and daughter talking in an office, it fades to black to the daughter standing in her room. There is then a cut to a child standing outside the girls house. We can tell this because how they are edited together.
