After analysing other thriller/ horror film trailers I have come up with a list of things vital to trailers.
- Snippets
- Short sharp editing
- Different but linking locations
- Not too many or too few characters, 3/4 which don't look too similar
- Dark colours
- Music that reflects the genre and the stage in Todorov's disrupted equilibrium (see "Story Board" blog for explaination) with some sound bridges and sound stings
